Napoleons Casino Sheffield, known locally as the ‘friendly casino’, has Three Card Poker available on its gaming floor, open daily from 1 pm to 6 am. The table includes a progressive jackpot side bet, in addition to the standard Three Card Poker bet options.
Play Three Card Poker at Napoleons Casino Sheffield
Three Card Poker at Napoleons Sheffield is played between the player and the dealer.
Players begin by placing an Ante bet, after which both the player and dealer are dealt three cards face down. Players then look at their cards and decide whether to fold, forfeiting the Ante, or continue by placing a Play bet equal to the Ante.
The dealer’s hand must qualify with at least a Queen-high for the round to proceed. If the dealer does not qualify, the Ante is paid at even money, and the Play bet is returned. If the dealer qualifies, hands are compared, and the higher hand wins.
Winning Ante and Play bets are paid at even money, with an Ante Bonus payable for a straight or better, regardless of the dealer’s hand.
Side Bets at Napoleons Sheffield
In addition to the main Ante and Play bets, players at Napoleons Sheffield may place a Pair Plus bet. This is an optional side bet that pays based on the value of the player’s hand alone, regardless of the dealer’s cards. A pair or better is required to win the Pair Plus.
Players may also place a Prime bet, which pays if all three of the player’s cards are the same colour. Sheffield’s Three Card Poker table also features a linked progressive jackpot. To be eligible, players must place a £1 wager on the bet sensor before cards are dealt. Winning combinations are based on the player’s three cards only, and only the highest qualifying payout per hand applies. The progressive jackpot pool grows with each qualifying bet placed and resets after it has been paid out.
