Napoleons Casino & Restaurant Hull is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated full time assistant catering manager to work alongside the catering manager to lead our team for our 90-seat restaurant and busy bar food and beverage operation.
Napoleons Casinos & Restaurants are operated by a privately owned UK family business, The A&S Leisure Group, with over 50 years in the leisure and hospitality sector.
We have a commitment to providing first class venues and outstanding customer service for our clientele. Our Group employs over 650 people across 7 leisure & entertainment businesses.
As the assistant catering manager, you will play a big part in making sure that each service runs as seamlessly as possible, through efficient planning, organisation and preparation before each service and supervising the restaurant and bar team as they provide the high standards expected by our guests. You will be required to work evenings and weekends, just like the rest of the team. This job specifies a 40 hour week, but you need to be prepared to work longer if necessary.
You must be customer service focused and committed to providing a helpful, friendly service, have good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. You will be a hands-on manager, setting an example at all times. The ability to prioritise your workload is a must. An individual with a pro-active stance towards problem solving, who displays a positive attitude and calmness under pressure is exactly what we are looking for. Previous experience in a hospitality based management role and must have strong team leadership skills. You must possess the ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and have a high level of initiative.
You will be knowledgeable in all aspects of restaurant and bar management including exceptional levels of food hygiene, health & safety, stock control and have a strong financial acumen.
