Dave Allen presented with ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ at the International Gaming Awards 2018
Chairman of The A&S Leisure Group, Dave Allen, has been awarded with the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ at the prestigious annual International Gaming Awards 2018.
The much coveted award celebrates the fantastic contribution that an individual has made to the industry through their hard work and dedication, and celebrates those who have significantly contributed to making a positive impact on the industry as a whole.
On receiving the award, Mr Allen, commented: “I am delighted to receive the award and very honoured indeed. I started in the business 45 years ago after purchasing my first casino with no experience at all, and the rest I guess you could say is history.
“A lot has changed in the industry in the last 45 years and I am honoured to have been involved in shaping the landscape and to receive such a prestigious award to recognise this. Thank you again, I am deeply grateful.”
The A&S Leisure Group is the UK’s largest privately owned Casino operator with five venues including Napoleons Casino & Restaurant in Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Hull and London; as well as Owlerton Greyhound Stadium in Sheffield.
The award ceremony took place at Grosvenor House, Park Lane in London on 5th February and brought together both land-based and online gaming operators, as well as suppliers and industry insiders from across the World.
Previous winners of the award include Gavin Issacs, Pontus Lindwall & Bill Cammegh.
